US Cargo Control's Fleece Sleeve Protector is good to use for protecting your 2 inch ratchet straps or your vehicle' finishes. The 2 inch web strap will protect finishes (paint, chrome, or other fine finishes on your vehicle) from the strap you are using to haul your automotive. It can also be placed over your ratchet strap to protect cargo and the strap from any potential damage. It is 1/2 inch thick, as it has foam padding inside the sleeve to keep your cargo and strap in excellent condition. It also has a hook and loop closure to easily slide and secure the sleeve onto the strap. Use the tie down sleeve on webbing up to 2 inches. This item is not machine washable but can be spot cleaned. According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): "When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation."
