These maroon Eco-Prep pads are designed for stripping floors with or without water, and can also prepare wood floors for recoating. On average, it takes 3 to 5 passes, depending on the coats of wax, to strip a floor to its bare tile. Note that while these pads effectively remove top wax layers when used dry, they won't eliminate 100% of old wax. For complete removal, a separate process is required.
