Brass, Yellow gold
1930s. Japanese bracelet in gilt brass with burnished plates decorated with inlaid gold. On one of the plates, there is an inscription 'foreign.' These were produced in Japan as souvenirs for foreign travelers. Each plaque tells the story of the Japanese world with its pagodas, flowers, and birds.
